What will you do with that $20,000 check?

On Friday, you will receive a $20,000 check in the mail. What will you do with it? You’ve got bills, you’ve got needs, you’ve got dreams, you’ve got promises to keep, and you’ve got your healing arts business. How will you spend your $20,000?

In my experience, I have found that most people simply do not spend enough time planning for their fortune. They say they want it and that they need it. “More money, more money!” But when you ask  what you will do with it, you generally get vague descriptives that may or may not fit into the budget of the amount received. You know, kinda like the 70% of the lottery winners who go broke after receiving a windfall of cash. They spend their winnings as if there is no end to its cash flow then they look up and find its all gone.

Today, I want you to take the time to plan how you will spend your $20,000 that’s on its way in the mail right now. How much will you put into savings? How much will you use to pay off debt? How much will you invest for your retirement? How much will you use to upgrade your business? How much will you invest in marketing? How much will you invest into your personal growth and self-care?  How much will your spend to reward yourself?
