What’s a Lifelong Learner?

When I was asked to contribute a short story to an anthology about success last summer, I felt humbled and honored that three amazing speakers and writers got together to discuss a literary project that would make a profound impact in the lives of thousands of entrepreneurs and City of Detroit workers in my hometown Detroit (and millions around the world), and my name came up. Together we discussed the state of the economy, the state of relationships and the state of health in our communities. We pondered over solutions to the depressed energy and lack of interdependence or collaboration. I suggested my friend and Law of Attraction Facilitator, Chris Lee be invited to our collage of success experts and the result was “The Soul of a Winner.”

The short story I contributed was written to remind readers who they are. You see, I know us each to be made in the image of the Divine, with power to create through our imagination the desires of our hearts. As our eyes are opened to the truth, healing and restoration occurs, mind, body and spirit. My short story and the poem I contributed was written to help readers ignite their imagination and discover the art of reinventing themselves.

At the end of each short story each author shares Success-isms and one that I would like to highlight today is Be a Lifelong Learner. The meaning is simple, learn as long as you live. After learning how to manage inventory at my first job thirty-four years ago, I learned sales. I read books when no one mandated it. I wanted to know how to be the best at whatever I was doing. After learning to be the best manager, I coached other managers to be their best as District Sales Manager of Twenty two stores across the east coast. When I answered the call to become a healer, I became adept at  Myomassology, Reflexology, Energy Field Enhancement and now, I want to study integrative health and become a Certified Holistic Health Coach.

I am offering a phenomenal success coaching opportunities if you would like to support me in my next level of training as a holistic health professional. Learn more by visiting http://www.gofundme.com/healthcoachvk.
