Loving Yourself, Loving Your Neighbor


We certainly can’t give what we don’t have. I believe that the evidence of our love for self is evident and manifested through our love for others, our neighbors. Look around you. What do you see? Do you see love manifested or do you constantly see hate in action?

The more we love ourselves, (our higher selves which is God because we are off springs, children of God/Love) the more we will see Divine Love radiating in us, around us and out into the entire universe. Thank you so much for sharing your enlightening self-love experiences below. Ashe!

The Upside Down World

Several years ago, I had an odd experience while in prayer. I don’t remember what I was praying about, and I’m afraid my explanation won’t do it justice, but the essence of it was God showing me what he loves about me. This wasn’t a generic “love of God washed over me” experience. Rather it was quite specific; God was showing me the particulars of how I am “fearfully and wonderfully made”. These were things about me that are precious to him and that he has purposed into me.
