Wanique Shabazz Galactic WorldBridger Speaks with the authors of “I Love Me”

In the deep vortex of night, poised between fathomless sleep and dreaming, the airwaves are filled with messages of inner growth, political empowerment and personal discovery on MAPPTIME, a weekly radio program on WRFG, 89.3 FM As night shifts today, On Sunday nights starting at 12 midnight, program producer Wanique Shabazz transmits his own special no-dose potion of metaphysical thought and “jazz” music.

For those who are reluctant to get up on the dreaded Monday mornings, perhaps an alternative is to tune in, stay awake, and get a head start on the coming dawn. It is no coincidence that MAPPTIME (Metaphysical Answers and Personal/Progressive Truths Inside Musical Edutainment) airs during a “time” when most people are asleep. It is more like a synchronistic metaphor for awakening the sleeping giant in a restless collective.

The emphasis on MAP & Time is also significant to his work with the FOUNDATION FOR THE LAW OF TIME. Which is campaigning to change the way we gauge time on mechanical clocks/watches and calendars on an uneven inaccurate reference i.e. Gregorian Calendar. Bringing us back into harmony with nature.

Indeed, Shabazz’s (also known affectionally as Khemi, his Galactic pseudonym) program is a wake up call, featuring interviews with alternative healers, community activists and global environmentalists, pre-recorded segments from a multitude of Afrocentric lecturers and world changers from his extensive collection and personal and political commentary all served up on a mellow cushion of transformative and new dimensional music. His aim is to help others become aware of “…power that is innately theirs. This process is an inside job,” he categorically states.

He attempts to provide maps of inner landscapes that lead out of the illusions of victimization and misconceptions that cause many to powerlessly sleepwalk through life. With an emphasis on cooperative economics and sustainable community living through Urban Agriculture and grassroots community activism MAPPTIME represents and personifies one of the many unique alternative programs on WRFG 89.3. FM.

In this episode of Mapptime Jazz, host and producer Wanique Shabazz welcomes Honorable Akhenaten S’L’M-Bey and Versandra Kennebrew, authors of “I Love Me” as his special guests.

The profound message “self-care is the manifestation of self-love,” has been shared throughout The Love Tour: Raising The Vibration. We envision healing artists all around the world loving themselves so much that self-care becomes primary in their lives, allowing for them to perform optimally in their perspective art forms.
