As the keynote speaker during Friday’s Opening Dinner, I will share my story of overcoming homelessness as well as resources for others affected by the epidemic of homelessness and poverty in America. On Saturday, I will join a dynamic group of community leaders and others who work for social justice in a panel discussion. Students and guests will have the opportunity to attend workshops, engage in community service and more throughout the weekend.
The summit takes place March 20-22, 2020 at Spelman College in the Camille Olivia Hanks Cosby Ed.D. Academic Center Auditorium and is hosted by Spelman College’s Bonner Office of Civic Engagement and Social Justice Fellows Program.
