Thank you Sara Ziglar, Dancer/Teaching Artist, Red Clay Dance Company in the Chicago area for reaching out to me on Linked In. Sara writes: “Thank you so much for connecting with me. I am excited to learn that you are a health and wellness coach and would like to learn more. In this episode of Health & Healing Chronicles, I’d like to bring your attention to the benefit of Detoxing or clearing out clutter as we transition into a new year. In reality, we know that time is an illusion, but as we think of cycles, it’s obvious that clearing out debris, stagnant energy and even thoughts can encourage Free Flow.
Before we look at my Top 10 tips for Year-End Detoxing, let’s make sure we are all on the same page about de-toxification. A Detox is another way of describing the process of purifying or purging toxins that cause dis-ease and can lead to death. I recommend this process with the change of each season for optimal health and well-being. I must caution you that although anyone can and should Detox regularly, if there is a build-up of toxins, a healing crisis may occur.
Local and National news highlighting the abuse of police officers is enough to cause sleepless nights, anxiety and outright madness. But connecting to our higher selves in the midst of these type of illusions allow us to let our lights shine, illuminating in darkness. In this episode of Health & Healing Chronicles, I offer a healing treatment via poetic prose and music my Ya Tafari, The Music Practitioner to heal the hearts and minds of our listeners, from the illusions of darkness and death. We also open the phone lines to allow our listeners to share how they are being affected by the news and to give voice to their own personal experiences.
We send light and love to our sisters and brothers who are grieving the loss of a loved one. Rest In Peace; Eric Garner, Michael Brown, Charles Smith, David Hooks and the countless others killed by the hand of police offers or other authority figures.
